Spoilers: the table reveals later mission names and destinations, but avoids story outcomes.

The sequence and locations come from the mission-data index, cross-checked against the Zero Company Ops campaign route on October 26, 2026. The current index identifies its source as extracted build 25898267; all 13 names and their order still match this table. The extracted records use OP001–OP013 for these entries; that identifier does not make every optional Operation part of the main story.
Main missions, Operations and character missions
Tactical Missions advance the campaign Cycle, according to EA's campaign explanation. Optional Operations use Intel and can affect resources or Bonds. Character mission requirements should be read separately: being between two story entries does not mean every side activity is available or must be completed there.
This distinction helps when a guide says “before the next mission.” Ask whether it means a story deployment, an optional Operation or a character objective. A fixed main-story order is useful for progress; it is not a universal calendar of recruitments and rewards.
Before advancing the next Cycle
- Check the mission requirement first. Reserve a mandatory Operator before choosing the other squad roles.
- Check the Medbay. Read injury counts and recovery timing; prepare a healthy substitute for a required role.
- Spend Intel for a reason. Compare an optional Operation's displayed reward with the resource currently blocking your squad. The choices guide gives examples.
- Inspect equipment on the deployed squad. A useful Utility on an Operator staying in The Den does not cover the mission team.
- Prepare one fallback. If your main finisher is unavailable, decide who provides its job rather than simply copying the previous four names.
Use squad replacements and injury recovery alongside this list. These preparation rules are our tactical synthesis, rather than mission-specific tested walkthroughs.
If the next story mission is not available
Compare your completed mission with the next row, then inspect the current campaign objective and outstanding prerequisites. Check whether a character or hub interaction needs completion and whether you are browsing optional Operations instead of the story deployment. Record the mission name and objective text before looking for a fix; a locked prerequisite needs a different response from a completed mission that fails to register.
If the problem occurs in Tel-Rea's character mission, use its version-specific completion note. A main-story list cannot diagnose that separate bug by itself.
A completed step is stuck: which fix applies?
Match the displayed objective, not just the planet, to EA's Patch 1.2 fixes:
| Where progress stops | Next action |
|---|---|
| Retake Luunata after saving in the elevator | Install the current update, load the affected save and retry that progression step |
| Retake Luunata's console in the third exploration phase | Update and retry the console interaction; keep its objective text if it remains unusable |
| Speak with Kabb when the conversation was unavailable | Update and revisit the relevant conversation/objective |
| A final battle whose mission-critical NPC died | Patch 1.2 makes this correctly end in failure; replay from an available earlier point with the NPC protected |
| Your last completed step disappears only after quitting | Use the Hawks checkpoint and cloud-sync checks before replaying the mission |
Retake Luunata is a name used in the patch notes; use the active objective to match the fix and the main-story table to track your overall progress. If a documented fix still fails, preserve the save and report the installed version, objective text and last action.
