Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Star Wars Zero Company Wiki processes information when you use this independent, fan-made guide site.
Information We May Collect
Depending on how you use the site, the following information may be processed:
- Basic technical data used by the hosting, security and analytics services, such as IP address, browser information, device information, visited pages and referrer.
- Aggregate page-usage measurements collected by Plausible Analytics.
- Technical data, cookies and similar technologies that Adsterra or its advertising partners may process when display advertising is loaded.
- Local-storage preferences, including your cookie choice, theme preference, achievement checklist progress and squad plans.
- Information you send voluntarily to us by email.
How Information Is Used
Information is used to operate and secure the website, respond to messages, understand aggregate use, maintain your preferences and comply with legal obligations.
Analytics and Cookies
Star Wars Zero Company Wiki uses Plausible Analytics to understand aggregate readership and improve the site. Plausible is loaded without waiting for the cookie-preference dialog and does not set analytics cookies.
If Google Analytics is configured for the site, it is optional and loads only after you accept analytics cookies in the preference dialog. Rejecting those cookies prevents Google Analytics from loading.
Display advertising served by Adsterra loads independently of the cookie-preference dialog, including when you have not made a choice or have rejected optional analytics cookies. Adsterra and its advertising partners may process technical information and use cookies or similar technologies to deliver, measure, limit or personalise advertising under their own privacy practices.
Third-Party Services
The site is hosted and protected through Cloudflare. Plausible Analytics processes aggregate analytics data. Google Analytics is used only after consent when it is configured. Adsterra serves display advertising in an embedded frame; its services and any destinations opened from an advertisement are governed by the privacy practices of the relevant provider. External links and embedded content, including YouTube videos, are also governed by the privacy practices of their respective providers.
Achievement Checklist
When you mark achievements complete, the checklist stores achievement identifiers in your browser. English and German pages share that local record. The checklist does not send this progress to our server, connect to Steam or synchronize across devices. Use Reset progress to clear the checkmarks, or remove the site's stored browser data. If browser storage is unavailable, progress remains available only for the current visit.
Squad Planner
The squad planner saves your selected Operators, Hawks specialization, mission type and marked campaign rules in this browser when you edit the plan. English and German pages share that record. Reset saved squad removes the saved plan; you can also clear the site's browser data. Without browser storage, changes last only for the current visit. A share link contains the configuration in its URL fragment. Anyone with that link can open the plan; the planner does not upload it to a sharing service. Loading a shared plan does not replace your saved plan until you edit it. The copy button writes the link to your clipboard only when you click it.
Your Choices
The preference dialog controls optional Google Analytics only; it does not block Adsterra advertising. You can manage cookies or similar technologies used by advertising providers through your browser or device settings where available. Plausible does not rely on analytics cookies. You may contact us to ask privacy-related questions or request access, correction or deletion where applicable.
