Star Wars Zero Company Platforms

Star Wars Zero Company is available on Windows PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. PC players can buy it through Steam, the EA app, or Epic Games Store, while the console versions are sold through the PlayStation and Xbox stores. There are no officially announced PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, or macOS versions as of August 29, 2026.

PC storefronts and launcher choice

The Windows edition appears on Steam, the EA app, and Epic Games Store. Choose based on account preference, regional pricing, refund policy, achievements, and where your friends or household manage libraries, not because one store advertises different tactical content. The campaign is single-player on every storefront, so buying a particular PC version does not unlock co-op.

EA account or third-party account requirements can vary by store and should be checked on the checkout page. Steam lists a third-party EULA, while EA's legal notice says its software may use account, activation, and digital-rights technologies. If launcher behavior is a deciding factor, verify the current requirements on the exact store you intend to use.

PC hardware targets

The minimum PC target is 1080p at 30 frames per second on Low settings. EA lists a Ryzen 5 2600X or Core i5-8400, 16 GB RAM, and a Radeon RX 5600 XT, Intel Arc B580, or GeForce GTX 1080, plus DirectX 12 and 50 GB of storage. These are desktop-class targets and do not guarantee equivalent performance on a handheld with shared memory.

The recommended 1440p/60 High target calls for a Ryzen 7 3700X or Core i7-10700K, 32 GB RAM, and a Radeon RX 7800 XT or GeForce RTX 3080. Windows 10 or 11 64-bit is supported, with Windows 11 recommended in EA's requirements. See the system requirements page for a clearer comparison and upgrade priorities.

PlayStation 5

The PlayStation version is built for PS5 rather than PS4. A PS5 is therefore the supported Sony console, and backward compatibility does not create a PS4 edition. Before purchasing physical media, match the disc region and account region if you expect to redeem any included digital code.

The store listing should be the authority for download size, supported languages, accessibility options, and current price because those fields may change through patches. A mouse-and-keyboard PC guide may also name controls that do not match the DualSense layout. The underlying AP, cover, Bond, and campaign systems remain the same.

Xbox Series X and Series S

Zero Company is sold for Xbox Series X|S, covering both current Xbox consoles. The Series S is all-digital, so a physical disc cannot be used with it even when the game itself supports the hardware. Buy a digital license or use a supported subscription entitlement if one is explicitly shown for your account.

The Xbox product page lists the title as single-player and separately offers Standard, Deluxe, and Deluxe Upgrade products. It does not currently label the full game as included with Xbox Game Pass. Unsupported last-generation consoles

EA has not announced PlayStation 4 or Xbox One versions. The recommended CPU, memory, and graphics targets and the focus on current console hardware make a last-generation release unlikely to appear without a specific announcement, but that is an inference rather than a promise about future plans. Do not buy a code labeled only for PS5 or Xbox Series expecting it to activate a separate old-gen build.

Cloud or remote streaming can display the game on an older or weaker device, but the game is still running on a supported PC or console elsewhere. This is different from a native port and depends on the streaming service, network, and license. Always identify where the game is actually executed when comparing platform support.

Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 status

No Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch 2 version is listed by EA, Steam, PlayStation, or Xbox as of our review date. Search snippets, store placeholders, and videos discussing a desired port do not count as a publisher announcement. We will treat either Nintendo system as unconfirmed until an official platform holder, EA, or the developer names it.

Remote-play workarounds do not change that status. A handheld can receive a stream from a gaming PC, but it is not purchasing or running a native Nintendo build. Players who want portable play should also read the Steam Deck performance guide before assuming the Windows version will run well locally.

Steam Deck and other handheld PCs

Steam marks Zero Company as Unsupported on Steam Deck. That badge is more important than the fact that the game may start under Proton, because official support also considers performance, input, text legibility, and stability. Community reports around launch describe low or inconsistent performance and soft image quality, so the Deck should not be treated as a guaranteed platform.

Other Windows handhelds may have stronger processors or more flexible settings, but EA does not provide handheld-specific targets. Compare the device against the minimum requirements and expect to tune resolution, upscaling, geometry detail, and frame rate. Remote play from a stronger desktop remains the lower-risk portable option.

How to choose a platform

Choose PC for adjustable graphics, mouse input, and access to unofficial mods, provided your hardware meets the requirements and you accept greater troubleshooting variability. Choose PS5 or Xbox Series for a fixed console environment and controller-first setup. Pick the store and edition only after checking live price, refund rules, language support, and whether a physical disc is compatible with your device.
